His Story
My journey into photography began as a way to preserve memory. After losing my grandmother, I felt an urgency to hold onto moments, to document the people I love in ways that felt honest and real. What started as a personal outlet quickly became a calling.
Over time, I evolved. I rebranded. I experimented. I shifted from chasing what I thought I was “supposed” to shoot to creating work that felt aligned with who I am. Along the way, there were sacrifices: friendships, relationships, opportunities but each lesson refined my vision and strengthened my commitment to authenticity.
Today, my work lives at the intersection of documentary realism and intentional presentation. I am inspired by people, their expressions, their energy, their stories and I aim to capture the version of them the world sees, even when they don’t fully see it themselves.
Whether through portrait series, exhibitions, live events, or digital platforms, my mission remains the same: to create spaces where art feels honest, where Black creativity is centered and celebrated, and where individuality is not just accepted, but elevated.
